Abstract

The Merti Dusun tradition is intended to express gratitude so that it has Sufism values ​​in the form of gratitude. Formulation of the problem from this background: 1) What is the process of implementing the Merti Dusun tradition in Padukuhan Saradan, 2) What are the Sufism values ​​contained in the Merti Dusun tradition in Padukuhan Saradan? Based on the problem formulation above, the approach used is phenomenology. This research uses qualitative research methods with observation, interview and documentation data collection techniques. The analysis technique used is data analysis according to Miles and Huberman, in which there are three techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this research are that the series of events in the merti hamlet tradition in Padukuhan Saradan have increased because they follow the times. The addition of these events resulted in a series of events like today, namely mbeseli, aweh-aweh, besik, grave pilgrimage, sima'an al-Qur'an, prayer khatam al-Qur'an and mujahadah, nguras spring, kenduri akbar, Tayuban, Gunungan carnival, entertainment (children's art performances, wayang),and recitation. Apart from that, several Sufism values ​​were found, namely gratitude, sincerity, piety, muhasabah, mahabah, pleasure, trust, and patience.
