Abstract

Social media creates a new culture where teachers and their students can not only carry out the learning process in the context of a physical room, but because of the emergence of social media, it is possible for the educational process to be carried out in another virtual space. Formal use of social media can be interpreted as a combination of analog and online learning. The ease of accessing social media is utilized by its users to be able to communicate online, such as chatting, sharing statuses, providing news and distributing invitations. Even for users who are used to it, online communication is considered more effective and efficient. The attitude of people understanding religion that is visible in a person in carrying out his duties, namely having the qualities of honesty, justice, being useful to others, being humble, working efficiently, having a vision for the future, having high discipline and balance. In other words, understanding is a person's ability to interpret and express the meaning of a fact or concept, according to the situation being experienced and can provide an explanation in his or her own words and can explain from various points of view.
